Terms of Service
Effective September 8, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and KraftyMan Industries Inc. ("KraftyQuote", "we", "us"), an Iowa corporation. By creating an account or using kraftyquote.com, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service.
1. The service
KraftyQuote is a web application for estimating material yield, production cost and pricing. Every calculation it produces is an estimate based on the figures you enter. We don't guarantee that any quote, yield number, runtime estimate or suggested price is accurate, profitable, or suitable for your business. You are responsible for checking the numbers before you commit to a job.
Sales tax on your own quotes is yours to determine. KraftyQuote applies whatever tax rate, scope and exemption you enter. It does not know the rules where you work, does not decide whether your labor or materials are taxable there, and does not verify any resale or exemption certificate you record against a quote. Rates and taxability differ by state and change over time. Confirm your obligations with a CPA or your state's revenue department — and note that this is separate from the tax on your KraftyQuote subscription, which Lemon Squeezy handles as merchant of record (see Plans and billing).
2. Accounts
You need an account for paid features. Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and tell us promptly at support@kraftyquote.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account.
3. Plans and billing
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and appears on your statement. Their terms apply to the payment itself alongside these terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Annual plans are billed as ten months' price for twelve months of service. You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan runs to the end of the period you've already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
We may change prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects their renewal, and can cancel before it takes effect.
Founder Pass. A limited number of Founder Passes are sold at launch for a one-time payment. A Founder Pass grants the Maker Pro plan for the lifetime of KraftyQuote Maker Pro — that is, for as long as we offer the Maker Pro plan — on one account. It is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or credit toward another plan, and does not include Workshop Suite or any future plan above Maker Pro. If we ever discontinue Maker Pro, we will move Founder Pass holders to the closest equivalent plan at no charge. A Founder Pass refunded under our Refund Policy is cancelled.
4. Your data and your content
Your quotes, materials, customers and shop data are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export your data at any time, on any plan, including after you cancel.
5. Acceptable use
Don't resell or redistribute the service as your own, reverse-engineer it, use it to break the law, attempt to access other users' data, or hammer it in a way that degrades it for anyone else. Automated scraping of the application requires our written permission. Every plan, the Founder Pass included, is subject to reasonable use: if an account's stored data or traffic is far outside what a working shop would generate, we may ask you to reduce it or move to a plan that fits. Job Shop Commercial is not currently offered for sale; its multi-seat access and embeddable quoting widget are in development.
6. Availability
We aim to keep KraftyQuote running but don't promise uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give at least 60 days' notice and a window to export your data.
7. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless doing so would be unlawful or unsafe. On termination we'll give you a reasonable window to export your data.
8. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent the law allows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KraftyMan Industries Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or mispriced work. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
