Privacy Policy

This policy covers kraftyquote.com, operated by KraftyMan Industries Inc.. It describes what we collect, why, where it lives, and how to get it back or get rid of it.
The short version
- On the free plan, your quotes stay in your own browser. They are not uploaded to us.
- On paid plans, your shop data syncs to our database so it survives a new laptop.
- We never sell your data, and we don't run advertising.
- We never see your card number — our payment processor handles that.
What we collect
If you don't have an account
The material calculators and the quoting app run without a signup. Quotes you build are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, and exported as a JSON backup only when you ask for one. We don't receive them. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we can't recover them for you.
If you create an account
- Account data — email address and authentication credentials.
- Shop data you enter — saved quotes, materials libraries, machine rates, inventory, customer names you put on quotes.
- Subscription status — which plan you're on and whether it's active.
Automatically
- Error reports — when something breaks, we receive a diagnostic report that may include your account identifier, the page, and the technical state at the moment of failure.
- Server logs — standard request logs including IP address, kept briefly for security and debugging.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers. Each one only receives what it needs:

What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We don't share your shop data, customer names, pricing or margins with anyone. We don't use your quotes to train anything. We don't serve ads or use advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
Account and shop data are kept while your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except records we're required to keep for tax and accounting purposes — those sit with our merchant of record. Error reports are kept for 90 days. Server logs are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you're in, you can ask us to show you the data we hold on you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Export is built into the app on every plan. For anything else, email support@kraftyquote.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in the EEA or UK, our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you (running the service), and legitimate interests (security, debugging, preventing abuse). If you're in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Cookies
We use cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary to run the service — keeping you signed in and holding your work in progress. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and access is limited to what's needed to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we'll notify you and any required authority without undue delay.
Children
KraftyQuote is a business tool and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and notify account holders by email.
